There were some moments that made me laugh out loud, like the 'hero, much?' conversation, and Cassie's college roommate. I love that Will and Finn essentially adopt every troubled teen that they come across (how many do they train up to being their sidekicks in fighting crime?). I love that Cassie had a difficult life, but had some doubts that were oh-so-easy to identify with. She felt very bland to me right up until she started worrying about whether she was ever going to have a life, and then BAM, she really came alive to me.

Cassie could totally be like one of those friends your parents have who you don't see very often but is totally cool but you're not really that attached to in any way. (Ew that sentence was a trainwreck, I hope it makes sense. x_x) Because she's totally going to stay in touch with Finn and Will anyway, but wouldn't really be in Melody's life enough to be a mother since she's off doing her own thing.
Um, yeah. I'm rambling.
Oh, btw, loving Finn and Will's characterisations again. Cassie portrays them totally as a married couple which is kind of hilarious, but then it's contrasted with them laughing over the tights thing and making the ultrasound person confused and it's like they're kids and not the adults and it's just <3. I love that even though things are ( ... )
