I'm in charge!

My stepdad left on Monday morning to go visit his family in San Jose, so I am in charge of cooking this week. I decided to be daring and try more complicated dinners than spaghetti, and so far I have made three very yummy dinners. I feel very accomplished knowing that I can fend for myself without having to subsist on spaghetti and frozen dinners

Jury duty is very important--I'm so happy that you're actually trying to do it!!! I've always wanted jury duty . . . *is a dork*

And yay cooking!!! I try to make myself fancy things, but I never have all the right ingredients.

I got my first summons while I was at Bryn Mawr, I think during my junior year. I had to call them and tell them I was 3000 miles away, so it would be a bit too much of a commute. XD But yes, jury duty is important, so I wouldn't try to slither out of it. Well, I hope you get summoned soon. :P

Cooking is cool, but I like baking more. Baking means super-yummy stuff, like cakes and cookies and muffins! :)

Yeah, interesting I guess is a good word for them. Most of them were just a bit too old for the parts, which as a friend pointed out, made "Sure Thing" (the first one) seem really awkward. But yeah, "WWW" was def. my favorite. Great physicalization without distracting from the dialogue.
