Oh, oh, here's a rec: And Glory Has No End; or, Clementine by rinsbane. It's gorgeous and achy and just exactly the kind of thing that I love about fandom, where people take the incredible potential of our ridiculous (not)gay(enough, recently) space show and turn it into something magical and strong and real. It's long and will make you completely forsake other things you need to be doing (hence my reccing it at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday that I was supposed to be devoting entirely to work, bah).

Also: watch any and all Merlin eps you haven't seen yet, for they are glorious. (Not really a rec you need, I know. :-)

The library link is in celebration of Melvil Dewey. I have mixed feelings about Mr. Dewey. See, he invented the classification system and all, but he also is one of the major people responsible for "simplifying" American English (i.e. he got rid of the British spellings, no u's or s's for him! He even simplified his own name, from Melville to Melvil). But [ library smut ] is always good! (Although, that one photo of the guy in track shorts in the Bodleian just seems so wrong.)
