Hee! And next term, I'm taking a class on "communities of practice" that mainly focuses on virtual communities, and I'm already plotting a paper on the OTW or some such. I have well and truly fallen into acafandom. :D
I was talking about why we needed to change the pairing tags to include first and last name, so I needed an example of a pairing with lots of designations. John and Rodney only have permutations of their first and last names (J/R, M/S, and vice-versa) and the smushed-name version (McShep), but John and Elizabeth have all that plus Sparky and thus I illustrated my point about how its good to have a consistent naming system, at least for the archive. (Also, I will probably post the paper in a day or two, for people who want to know all the behind-the-scenes details of the inner workings of the archive and general_jinjur's supreme awesomeness.)
My wintry layout is also a [ wallpaper ], should you wish it. Oh, how I love Rodney's hands. ♥

And, now you need to explain the context for your Sparky reference, plz. (Or just send me the paper, so I can read and be dazzled?)
p.s. Did I ever mention how much I like your new layout? The pensive!John and Rodney!hands are lovely.
