It's not even April (Official Poetry Spam Month), but last Thursday two separate people sent me poems that made them think of me. Which is kind of awesome.

Oh, I quite like the poem about Utopia! (I have never had any desire to read it. :P)

I've always thought the Auden poem was a great poem -- it sticks in my head, you know? -- even if I don't agree with the thought at all, really.

Auden is great with the imagery (definitely sticks in your head), although he's much more despairing than I usually am. But the imagery! It's so starry!

I'm a bit of a poetry nut. I post a poem every day of April for Poetry Month and, occasionally (like now), post mini-spams throughout the year. :D
