I went apartment hunting this morning. It was in an area I hadn't been to before, so I had to figure out which bus to take (always fun-why do they make the bus systems so hard to figure out?) and of course it's the weekend so most buses only run once an hour. After all that, I got off the bus in the neighbourhood and then turned around and went

Are you looking only in MD, or in DC as well? I don't know much about MD housing, but there are some great places in DC near the MD border (everything on the red line north of Farragut North). Silver Spring should have some nicer places, too, I would think.

Yeah, I was in Silver Spring last weekend, but they are really expensive. I'm still just poking around to get ideas of where I might want to live, so I'll check out stuff along the red line, too. Thanks! :)
