Sartorially magnificent

I incorporated the word "sartorially" into my homework. Yes!

We had to submit questions for a search quiz for one of my classes, and we were supposed to submit questions based on what our presentations had been about (dictionaries & encyclopedias for the win!). So I submitted a question asking people to look up the word "sartorially" in the OED. :D If the prof actually uses my question (and how can he resist the intrigue of the word "sartorially"?), I will giggle madly and think of Rodney's hoodie (thanks to aesc), that being what reminded me of this fabulous word and gave me the inspiration for at least one question.

Among other things, I am a word geek. And "sartorial" is by far my favourite geeky word because it sounds so dirty and yet it just means "related to clothing".

Snippet from my happy place (aka, the Oxford English Dictionary):

sartorially, adv.

With regard to clothes.

1905 W. J. LOCKE Morals of Marcus Ordeyne xii. 146 When she puts her foot upon my sartorially immaculate knee.

(There are more sartorial quotes, but that is what browsing the OED is for and I would not want to infringe upon that. ♥)

Well, that made my icky homework more fun for a bit. :)
