Grady in Hospice: Weakness

Yesterday Grady began to respond a little more to conversation than he had been earlier in the week. "Grady, are you hungry?" Ears perk up. «Yeah... I could eat. I check butts regularly. For wormies, rosebuds stuck in fur, etc. You're in good company! :)

I've reduced Ed's epilepsy meds by quite a lot since they are to blame for his liver disease. Unfortunately it's a fine line between managing his liver failure and managing his epilepsy. He woke me at 3:00 this morning with a round of seizures. I stayed with him as long as I could and came into work late, but would much rather be with my boy right now.

Every day with our furry kids is a gift. That's how I see it.

Is Grady on diuretics?
