Hamada: Right.
Matsumoto: Whether it's Arashi.
Hamada: Are you an idiot? Huh?

Hamada: We say it's Arashi after they appear, right? We say it's Arashi after they appear. Don't say it now! So, with that...
Matsumoto: But it was written in the script...
Hamada: It's not, there's no way it was written in the script. We say it after they come out.
Matsumoto: Okay, I'm sorry.
Hamada: Then, please have a look at the VTR of this year's total CD sales.

Narrator: The earliest yearly ranking in Japan, 2008's CD sales, 1st! Arashi. "Truth". "Kaze no Mukou e". Monopolizing both 1st and 2nd in the ranking this year, it's truly a marvelous achievement that hasn't happened for 19 years! Congratulations, Arashi!

[Monopolizing both 1st and 2nd in the ranking, it's truly a marvelous achievement that hasn't happened for 19 years!]

Sho: What are you doing!?
Hamada: It's damn noisy now, geez!!
Nino: Hooray!
Hamada: Okay, it's Arashi~!
Nino: Thank you very much!

Hamada: Arashi is amazing!
Matsumoto: [tries to return the award]
Hamada: Oi!!
Nino: Matsumoto-san! Matsumoto-san!
Hamada: You're so annoying!
Matsumoto: Who should I pass this to?
Arashi: Leader, Leader.
Matsumoto: Leader, I got it.
Hamada: This is amazing! Your two songs monopolized both 1st and 2nd.
Nino: Thank you very much!

[Monopolizing 1st and 2nd place in the yearly CD sales ranking is a marvelous achievement that hasn't happened in 19 years since Princess Princess]

Hamada: Seems it's a marvelous achievement that hasn't happened in 19 years.
Jun: It doesn't feel real at all.
Hamada: Lying again~!! Lying again!!
Jun: It's true!
Matsumoto: At this rate, I should've joined Arashi when they asked me.
Aiba: They asked you, huh?
Nino: They asked you, right?
Matsumoto: Yes.
Hamada: When did they ask you? When did they ask you!?
Matsumoto: I declined in the spur of the moment.

Sho: This sort of thing is a first time for us too. Even getting 1st place is a first for us, so...
Matsumoto: If you get more popular than this, just how much longer is your scarf going to go!?
Nino: This might be the proof of our popularity! Proof of our popularity!

[Proof of their big hit?]

Hamada: So, we want to know which Arashi member worked the hardest this year.
Sho: This was brought up a few times on Heyx3, but Leader Ohno was...
Hamada: Are you serious?
Nino: He had his art exhibition, a stage play and a drama...
Jun: It was his first appearance in a drama series. He played the lead role in his first drama series.
Hamada: I see. No, but even if you say that, you guys just happened to have no dramas at the time, otherwise your work load is the same, right??
Jun: No, but it's the first time Leader has done his best for so many things this year.
Matsumoto: The only thing is, Leader hasn't said a single word yet.
Nino: Sorry!

Ohno: Well... I would've liked to relax a bit more.
Hamada: There's something wrong with him!
Matsumoto: Because you were flustered and all over the place.
Ohno: Flustered and all over.
Hamada: He's...
Jun: We're sorry.
Matsumoto: In truth, how many days of rest would you like in a week?
Ohno: In a week... well, in that case, one week...
Matsumoto: Society calls those the unemployed.
Ohno: I see. Unemployed, huh.
Matsumoto: You'd like to work a little bit.
Ohno: I'd like to work a little bit.

Hamada: This says, you had an embarrassing first experience in Shanghai.

Nino: It was us three, but...
Aiba: We sure went for this!
Nino: We did the Asia tour...
Matsumoto: Asia tour, yes yes yes.
Nino: So, after we finished everything, along with Tokyo, we kind of... right?
Sho: Out of curiosity, kind of.
Hamada: I'm sorry, is this something you can talk about on TV?

Narrator: Heyx3 will broadcast it all!

Nino: And he flipped our XXX.

Hamada: This says, you had an embarrassing first experience in Shanghai.

Nino: It was us three, but...
Aiba: We sure went for it!
Nino: We did the Asia tour...
Matsumoto: Asia tour, yes yes yes.
Nino: So, it was Tokyo and... Taipei, Seoul and Shanghai.

[In Sept ~ Nov this year, Arashi went on an Asia tour to perform in 4 areas - Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, Shanghai]

Nino: We performed at four places, but...
Sho: It was our first time at Shanghai.
Hamada: I see.
Nino: After we finished everything, we kind of... right?
Sho: Out of curiosity, kind of.
Aiba: That's right.
Hamada: I'm sorry, is this something you can talk about on TV?
Nino: We can!
Jun: We can, it's something that you can broadcast.
Hamada: Really?
Jun: Yes.
Hamada: It sounds like places that Matsumoto-san frequents.
Matsumoto: Is it?
Sho: What kind of places do you go to?
Matsumoto: I go to that Gotanda's West exit... (*note: Gotanda is a neighbourhood located in Shinagawa, Tokyo. West of Gotanda lies many hotels, including the famous capsule hotel.)
Nino: No, Shanghai.
Sho: Ours is Shanghai.
Nino: We went to Shanghai.
Matsumoto: I've never heard of a store called "Shanghai".
Aiba: It's a place! The country, the country!
Nino: It's the city, the city, the city.
Matsumoto: Ah, I see.

Sho: We decided to try akasuri... (*note: akasuri - 'aka' means 'dirt' while 'suri' means 'to rub'. so literally, it's a process that scrubs dirt off your body.)
Hamada: Ahhh, akasuri!
Sho: In the massage parlor, you can do akasuri as well.
Hamada: Right, right, right.
Nino: This is good, right?
Sho: Apparently there's a space for it. And they asked us whether we'd like to try it, so we thought, "Let's try it!" But it was late at night, and they did it one by one.
Nino: Because we had three, we thought we could do it at one shot. But we went there so late, that we had to do it one by one. It was a one-to-one thing.
Aiba: I was shocked! I was pretty enthusiastic at first! First, the old man...
Matsumoto: It was an old man?
Nino: An old man came in.
Aiba: Right. The old man came, and we were... well, we were completely naked. And lying down.
Matsumoto: Lying down.
Aiba: Then, first of all, the old man takes his top off.

Jun: Why, why??
Nino: It was kind of scary! It was like, "Uwohhhh."
Matsumoto: Well, yes, it'd be scary if an old man with his top off came at you.
Sho: He told us to lie down.
Aiba: It was after we laid down that was the most embarrassing.
Sho: It's like, do we have to do that kind of pose...

Hamada: What kind of pose were you forced into? Let's take this as a bed!
Aiba: We'll take this as a bed, huh.
Hamada: At first you were facing upwards, right?
Nino: Right.
Hamada: And?
Jun: Who's doing it?
Aiba: Do it, Sho-chan.
Sho: I'm doing it!?

Aiba: So you get like this, and he takes his top off--
Hamada: You were facing upwards at first.
Aiba: The old man takes his top off...
Sho: Well, the towel was wrapped up like this over here.
Hamada: Your XXX hung out here, right?
Aiba: He was quite enthusiastic!
Matsumoto: The old man, right?
Aiba: He'd scrub and scrub like this... then he'd go to this area, right?
Matsumoto: He'll go that far?
Nino: At this point, it's normal, completely normal scrubbing!
Aiba: Then, at one point, the old man... the old man who's scrubbing, exhaled a breath, and flipped it over.
Hamada: No way, no way!! There's no point to this!!
Nino: After he scrubbed everything from start to finish, he flipped our XXX.
Matsumoto: Why? Why??
Aiba: He'd flip it over, then he'd bring our legs up a bit like this... then, here too... see?
Sho: And, when he did this, he could've just left it at the legs, right? But our arms were forced up like this too.
Matsumoto: This was the same old man?
Three: The same old man! There's only one.

Hamada: So the other two didn't go?
Nino: The two of them couldn't make it...
Jun: We were tired.
Hamada: Rather... you go to those often, don't you?
Jun: I've only been to normal massage parlors!! Please stop.
Hamada: They flip you over, don't they?
Jun: [swipes hand]

Narrator: Arashi, who monopolized the 1st and 2nd place of the Oricon yearly ranking, will perform a special medley showed only on this programme.
