Seriously, I have an exam tomorrow that I'm nowhere near prepared for, but I started this and couldn't put it down. I love your choice of doing it all from 2014!Cas's POV; it balances out the good "fixing the what-ifs" of canon with heartbreak perfectly. I seriously was bouncing around between joy (for things not going to all Hell like in canon) and depression/sadness/general heartbreak (because it's future!Cas, so how can one NOT feel all sorts of sad emotions, especially when you write him so well?).

Also, for the next book, I would like to request that Cas and Castiel gang up on Dean to give him a good beat down, 'cause this fic has reminded me of how badly he has needed it since season 5. 8|

And finally, I end with OH MY CHUCK GABRIEL AND CROWLEY <3<3<3<3

Good luck on your exam! I'm glad you liked it-- I was trying really hard throughout to balance fix-it with the idea that fix-it has its own screw-ups as a side-effect of fixing it.

For the next book... hmm, I think that some ganging up is going to have to occur, most definitely. :)

Totally awesome but I didn't realize it was a WIP. I hate reading WIPS. Is it nearly done?

I have been dying for unrequited!Cas forever and am glad to finally have it. So heartbreaking. future!Cas and Castiel are so easy to tell apart, beautifully written.

I hate reading WIPs too. :( Probably should have put a warning that it's part of a series. But I'm glad you like it! I'm considering doing the sequel for Nano this year, so tentative plans for being done by the end of November, though I probably won't start posting until it's finished and edited. It should definitely be done before the year's out, though. Thanks for the comment!

The next book is going to be fun... fortunately, it shouldn't be more than two-part, but dividing it helps me keep my sanity.

This was brilliant! Probably the best thing I've read in a while and how you stayed in canon and yet didn't...just amazing. I can't wait to see where this goes!

LOL, it didn't even occur to me. I'll avoid WIP fics like the devil, but WIP series don't bother me as much. There will just be the one sequel, though, which should be out by the end of the year. ;) So at least your wait isn't very long!
