[Florina is panicking even more than usual. Anyone who listens closely can hear something large snorting and stamping around in the background.]
Ah! Um...hello, uh, a-anyone? I um, I could use s-some...
Does...does anyone have any hay? Or m-maybe a, erm, a stable?
I, um, m-my g...Er, t-t-that is...um...
MY FRIEND IS A PEGASUS!

1. She has no experience with being a horse, much less one with wings.
2. There is not enough room in the apartment for a pegasus.
3. She can't talk.
The result is a very agitated Lyn-pegasus, though she's trying to keep herself under control for Florina's sake.]

When FLorina comes back over and explains what she's going to do with the rope, Lyn answers with another whicker and tries to hold herself very still so her wings can be tied down. She knows this will be uncomfortable but if she can get outside, she's fine with that.]
Reply
That s-should take care of it, and you, um, you should be able to j-just walk through. They, er, shouldn't catch this time, though they might, um, s-scrape a bit.
[She hops down and almost gives Lyn another smack before she catches herself. Her hand slips back into her pocket. Hopefully Lyn didn't notice that.]

Whickering to show she understands what Florina said, Lyn tries walking through the doorway again. The plan works perfectly and she trots out into the hall in relief, then keeps going, though slowly enough for Florina to follow and keep up with her.]

Ah! T-the ropes aren't too tight, are they? I, well, I, um, tried to make them as c-comfortable as possible, but they are ropes s-so that's not really saying much. I-I can take them off once you're outside, er, s-so just let me know...um...somehow...if you want me t-to do that...I-is it easier to k-keep your balance with them bound like that? I would think it's, er, harder, but you seem a lot l-less wobbly...
N-nevermind, you c-can't really answer that like this...I'll...I'll just...s-stop...
[She looks awkwardly off to the side. This would be a lot less nerve-wracking if Lyn could talk. Then again, maybe not. A talking horse would be problematic for a whole bunch of other reasons. At least Lyn seems fairly calm, all things considered. ]
D-do people normally t-turn into strange things around here?

She decides to try snuffling Florina's hair a bit. She's seen horses do that when they're pleased.]

Well, er, hopefully you'll be able to, um, t-turn back before you get hungry. I, um, I bet grass doesn't taste very good. T-though, you are a horse, s-so maybe that'll help.
[Well, that's not awkward at all. She smiles a little wider in an attempt to compensate for that horribly unreassuring statement. ]

... Even if she just had a whole bunch of happy thoughts on the subject. Lousy instincts.
They've reached the stairs down by now, and Lyn's going slower than ever as she figures out where to place her feet. Trying to negotiate stairs like this is tricky to say the least, and she really doesn't want to know what would happen if she tripped.]
Reply
E-er, just, just be c-careful...you're almost there. I, um, I'll go open the door.
[She awkwardly walks backward, never taking her eyes off the stairs, and fumbles around for the doorknob.]
Reply
Step by step, she manages to get her way down the stairs, until finally she's reached the bottom without falling and breaking a leg. Or a wing. Or Florina.
Relieved, she clatters out the front door, and heaves a big horsey sigh of relief.]

Well, y-you should be a lot more comfortable out here. T-there's plenty of room, and i-if you'd like, we can get those ropes off. M-maybe, um, flying will be more comfortable for you than walking? You, um, have four legs and y-you only have 2 wings...

And getting these ropes off. That's important too. She whickers and bites at one of them, this being the quickest way she can think of to say "get these things off me."]

[She climbs up onto Lyn's back and, after a few moments, the ropes fall down onto the ground. Florina pats Lyn on the back of her neck.]
T-there! You're outside, the ropes are off, and, well, I'm not sure what you'd want to, um, do out here, but whatever it is, you can, er, do it. I bet it's nice to just n-not be in a tight space, um, anymore.
[She's determined to try and think as positively about this as she can. Otherwise, she's worried she might completely short circuit over how surreal this entire situation is. ]

Florina brings something else up though. She's not sure what she wants to do either.
After a bit of consideration, she gives her wings a flap. A flight sounds like a great idea.]

O-oh, I um, maybe I...er, I...
