I've read A Fire Upon The Deep, and really liked it, as well. Funny, as I now can't remember what happened, I just remember liking it a lot.

I'm Ops for the DET, and a platoon LPO for the battalion, soon to be a platoon leader. Just in time for our deployment next year.
