high heels are silly

I decided to wear high heels to Sunday mass this week.

I just got back, and my feet ache from standing and walking around for about two hours.

How do people do thissss

You get used to them after a while!

It helps if you get well-fitting heels, too. Like, my sister likes the absurd little needlepoint heels and I like the big chunko wedge ones.

Or heels might just not work for you.

Well, I hope so. This was my first foray into wearing anything higher than...an inch and a half. I think.

I never understood those shoes with skinny heels. Every time I go to a mall there is someone whose shoes have one heel or the other crumpled to the side and I wonder how people can possibly balance like that.
