A sticky end

Next stop was Tarvik. Rather than try to scry on all the potential targets, Yoyo suggested that we go and ask the paladin of Tarvik to come with us. She agreed, and also mentioned an upcoming eclipse which sounded like a good time for doing evil rituals to us.

In a next life, you might wish to reconsider that thought.

Sorry to hear of Calia's demise. Is it fatal?

Nice icon there. :)
I don't know what's going to happen to Calia, but there'll be a new character in a new setting next week.

From the ebil DM whoes running the game.

For now they are dead. Unfortunately things didnt go to plan for the PC's. The bad guy adapted his tactics to theirs after 2 fights, but the the PC's didn't adjust theirs. Or adjusted in the wrong way. not sure which TBH

However they did get him within 6 hp of death.

A new GM for a new game next week.

I did like the party so I will bring them back.

We did adjust ours - just not quite right. We had the daylight spells to blind the drow, the teleports, the disintegrate scrolls, and we managed to deal with the force cage this time. But we weren't the same party who took him on last time. If we'd had Rod Wikibile in the cage things might have gone differently.

And we did come damn close to killing him. If I hadn't fumbled when I did I reckon we might have got him. :)

True, very true.

I liked some of those characters. Sarflex and Calia and the ex rod were fun.
