NBB Stress fun (or fun stress?)

So NBB First draft and summary are due today. Ohboy. I've got about 3 chapters, or 4K, to write that I haven't even TOUCHED yet, whoops. And I've been at work all day so I'm gonna have a LOT to do this evening!

Before I began, though, I thought I'd check my progress so far:

I submitted 41K of stuff this evening, with the final chapter not yet submitted as I don't have a draft of it. But, it's close, maybe 3 scenes to go.

Chapter 1, D-Day Minus 16 Months To D-Day Minus 1 Year
Chapter 2, D-Day Minus 11 Months To D-Day Minus 7 Months
Chapter 3, D-Day Minus 7 Months To D-Day Minus 6 Months

Wow, good for you! It's neat how you've got the chapters as a countdown to D-Day. And yay maps! I love maps, I really do.

And thanks, but oh my, I don't feel like I'm ready for congrats quite yet. I've got 4K to write in the next 5 hours. This will be... interesting. It's definitely a sprint towards the first draft finish line at this point. :P

There's going to be such a rush of good stories when everyone has finished. I withdrew, but hope to finish the story eventually anyway ...

And yes, I'm quite looking forward to it! And I think it's great that even if people have withdrawn, it doesn't mean there's no chance for the story - it just means that it's no longer confined to the due dates of the NBB. I hope you manage to finish yours, too! :)

Alas, I had to withdraw and put my fic on hold, but I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with!

Aw, that's too bad, though understandable. I came close to withdrawing a couple of times, myself. Hopefully you can continue working on it and will be able to post in your own time!
