58 Fic and Happy Bacteria

I've been in a spectacularly good mood lately.  I'm usually in a pretty good mood anyway, but lately I've been in the "I would skip if no one were watching" sort of mood.  It's been nice, if not a little hard to understand.  I'm entering my third week of having this weird mystery illness that refuses to go away, and I've been catching up on a ( Read more... )

Thanks very much! I'm glad that the slowness was believable for you; that what I was hoping for. It seems like they'd start out a little uncomfortable at first (or at least in my mind). Thanks for reading!

I was chewing on my lip while I was reading this cause I was afraid that you were going to break Hakkai's heart by having Gojyo turn him down flat!
I sincerely hope you are going to continue this story. It's bittersweet and lovely all at the same time.

Ah! Heaven forbid! (Although I am kind of a sucker for angst, haha.)

You're the second person to ask me to continue this. To be honest it never really occurred to me, but maybe I'll have to putter around with it a little bit, heh.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

With motivation like that, I betcha Hakkai wins!

I like how you made it plain that they're both equally on tenterhooks here, afraid to move forward and yet knowing that standing still is no longer an option.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. That's how I imagine them a lot of the time: sort of stuck in friendship because they don't want to mess up the routine. Thanks for reading! ^^

This is very good. Nice and introspective. I like that you made the boys slow down and examine their feelings. And Hakkai has Gojyo trained better than he realizes... that cracked me up! :) And I loved the way you ended. No resolution, yet we all know Hakkai always wins at cards.

Haha yeah, I think Hakkai definitely has Gojyo on a leash, much to Gojyo's ignorance. XD Thanks so much for the lovely comments! I'm glad the ending worked for you.

That is one heck of a conversation, and I think given who Gojyo was, if the answer really was a "no" instead of an "I need to adjust myself to the novelty of this," he would've been out the door and down at the nearest bar within seconds. I love that it ends on a card game, because that still gives Hakkai a chance to volley it back into Gojyo's court, too.

Fun read. Great job.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Poor Gojyo; he's kind of frail in these sorts of situations, heh. Thanks for reading!

Nice icon, by the way. I keep staring at it, haha.
