This is quite a mess we've gotten ourselves into, isn't it?

Listen up. I, for one, am not planning to follow the Malnosso's orders. Nobody's who's been... possessed, or whatever you call it, has proven to be a threat. There's no reason to end their lives, but even if there was, I'd still search for another way to stop them. If there's people out ( Read more... )

Well, don't worry. If anyone tries to go after you, just contact the Rogues and we'll come running.

Good move, Vyse. Brave Vesperia will act as back-up, if you need it.

Expect resistance, Vyse. I suggest all the Blue Rogues begin carrying their weapons around.

I'm pretty sure most of them already do that in the first place. But it's a good thing to keep in mind anyway.

Gotcha. People thinking they can screw around are gonna learn a different story if I find them.

That's the spirit. Just don't beat them up too much, okay? We're supposed to be stopping fights, not starting our own.

Well, I'm not Lloyd. I'd rather not mess up my beautiful visage, you know?

And here I thought you could easily defeat your opponents without getting so much as a scratch.

Nice speech, Handsome.

But still, retaining people, wouldn't that be asking for more trouble? Shouldn't we avoid bloodshed altogether?

winged_rogue May 27 2009, 17:49:16 UTC
That's the whole point of retaining them. Sure, we'll meet violence with violence if we have to, but in the end we're doing this to make sure nobody dies because of this situation. If there's someone with murderous intentions, possessed or otherwise, we'll just have to isolate them until this whole thing blows over.

I agree that if they become violent we will have to strike back, if only to prevent further chaos. However, that could alarm some of the residents here as well, so we would have to be tactical in this.

Now where would be a good place to isolate them here? Perhaps one of the abandonned stores?

This actually isn't the first time something like this has happened. There've been personality change experiments before, forcing us to capture a few of our nicest villagers. I remember that the first time, they were knocked out and locked in someone's house. The second time, we'd tried to lure them into the tunnels where their powers wouldn't work.
