I know this might make me seem shallow, I stay away from the ceremonies.
Whenever possible, I do, too. And, for the record, I don't think that makes us shallow. ;) Ceremonies in general either bore me to tears (even, like, award shows on tv, I mean... except for bits featuring my favourite celebs, like Chris accepting his Golden Globe) or make me awfully uncomfortable (in RL), so I tend to avoid them.
I even got hit on XD We'll see where it goes.
Hope he turns out to be a really nice and fun guy.
my blue-and-white (which are the colours of the Israeli flag, in case anyone missed the patriotic reference) striped dress
What a lovely pattern! I don't wear horizontal stripes a lot, but I adore them and I wish I could pull them off better.
I actually liked the Tokyo collage. But the apple drawing is just stunning!
I finally started reading an actual book. I went for Pride and Prejudice
I love Jane Austen! Though I've only read Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey and a short story called Love & Freindship, so far
( ... )
The thing is, unless the ceremony is personal to me (as in, one of my family/friends were killed in the line of duty or in terrorist attacks) then I sort of feel like it's not my place to take part of the ceremony - again, unless it's part of my everyday 'place' like work or army or school. In those cases, I do attend.
Thanks for the complements on the dress and the art, and the well-wishes on the guy :P So far we've chatted on FB but haven't even talked about meeting up. Well, he did try to lure me to his cousin's place, who was having a private billiards party, but I was at salsa so I didn't even acknowledge the subtle invitation :P
Aww, not at all, boo! I love hearing that you look forward to my personal poss - it means I'm not just pouring my heart (and my personal life) out into the big empty void of the 'net. It's good to know that someone is interested :)
I'd love to hear about your life too - after all, just like life in Israel might be interestinf to you, life in the Pilippines sounds really interesting to me! :)
I post personal entries once a month. But... idk if anything exciting happens this month, and if it even has something unique I can introduce about the Philippines! XD Fingers crossed, tho.
I've seen the greatest things about Israel in the travel blogs I watch all the time! And since you're taking something related with arts for your course.. it's a fresh break since almost all the people I know took up business-related and communication related courses. And I have a BS Nursing degree. Arts is refreshing to hear about.
