Assuming you're referring to the idiot who made the comment about adoption being a terrible option?
Suppose he's entitled to his opinion, but he makes it seem like every adoption ends badly and that adopted kids are worse off, which they all aren't. *is proof* 8D
I've been dealing with people telling me that I'm a freak for being adopted for my whole life and saying that my parents never really loved me and that if my birth mother hadn't wanted me, she should have kept her legs shut or that she should have just sucked it up and dealt with it.
I love my parents. And I'm so happy that I didn't have to live in poverty.
People like that seriously make me want to cry. One horror story doesn't negate all the kids that have been saved from poverty, abuse, and abandonment because of adoption. If the mother doesn't want to keep the kid, the worst thing you can do is make her keep it.
It takes a village, eh? I don't think a scared teenager should be shamed into having to take care of a child if they don't want. Not only is there a good chance they'll resent the child for ruining their life (and kids can tell), the child probably won't be properly taken care of. That's why sex education is so essential and it's important that teens be provided with the proper tools to prevent pregnancy, since they're obviously going to have sex no matter what.
It's fine, most people wouldn't be that bothered by it. It's just been kind of a... hotbutton for me recently. I saw the first comment and then I kept reading.

Gah, I'm sorry. I should have put a warning, or something.
