That's very weird about the Bujold list - have you checked is there something amiss with your settings? (I can't help otherwise as I quit the list a couple of years ago, due to the signal-to-noise ratio descending below my minimum threshold.)
FWIW, I haven't kf'd you. But then, I've been pretty quiet on-list for some time now - usually only putting in my oar on some linguistic issue, and then only briefly.
It sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Uluru is high on our list of places to go if we ever get back to Australia. It was high on the list the last time too, but I looked at the weather statistics for that time of year and we ended up deciding not to try to go there. Four weeks just wasn't enough to go everywhere we wanted to go.
I don't think you've been kill-filed by everybody on the Bujuld list. I certainly haven't kill-filed you. I will admit to skimming most of what gets said there but I can't remember seeing anything from recently.
