I just randomly turned on the news here around 11 AM today, and I couldn't believe what I was saying. The whole city is just in a state of siege, isn't it?

It's all very scary, but more than that, it makes the world seem like a very hopeless place. :(

I hope everyone over there is safe, and will stay that way.

The Nariman Point area is and all of Colaba is under curfew. The rest of the city seems to be fine... just tense and depressed I think. One of my friends is actually at work near the dadar area!

But everyone's really upset. even here in Bangalore the whole office is so gloomy.... I think South Bombay, everyone knows someone who would have cause to be there. They've hit landmarks, and normal working people just going about their jobs. It's so saddening watching flames coming out of the Taj, and to hear the death toll moving up.

I saw a picture of one of the terrorists, and he looked like he was maybe eighteen years old. Someone older (and with money) had to have handled the logistics behind this, but you probably couldn't get someone older to go on that sort of suicide mission. Bastards. It makes me so angry thinking about it.

Yes, they've been flashing the pic with the kid with the blue ba over and over again. it's so awful to imagine someone so young can do something so violent.

They are saying right now that it is completely over, and it's just the sanititsation of one of the hotels that's left to do. thankfully!
