Since the season ending of Agents of Shield made me so very unhappy, I started poking at fic for it almost immediately after the last episode aired, and had planned to keep poking at it all summer, just to keep my own self happy. I liked all of them, but the last one really got me. Also, there needs to be so much badass Jemma!

You did a great job with Ward, showing his arrogance and lack of understanding how people work. Reading about him left a bad taste in mouth which means the characterization was spot on.

I have to give the show props for Ward - there was something about him that bugged me from the very beginning, and when I realized he was Hydra it was a total slap the forehead "of course!!" moment. May kicking his ass was one of the best scenes in season 1.
