I made some icons from a few of my favorite stories to keep up with my tradition of posting an icon set on my birthday. (It's actually tomorrow, but I'm going to be busy.) I got a bit rambly about why I decided to icon these fandoms so I placed it all under the cut. :) A tutorial for this style can be found here.

:: Lord of the Rings is a story that captured my heart and imagination ever since I first saw it about 4 years ago. What I love most about LOTR is that it reminds me that even when things get difficult "There is always hope!" as Aragorn says.
:: Pride and Prejudice is usually what I want to watch when I want something that is soothing and calming... and I love how pretty it is.
:: Twilight is a brand new fandom for me - saw the teaser trailer for the movie and then I had to read the books. It dazzled me in much the same way LOTR did, which actually took me by surprise.
