Gah! Give him a day or two and he'll come round... I hope... it's too silly for a friendship to end over a misunderstanding.
The onset of cold winter weather in his part of the globe doesn't help.

I doubt it. I don't think I am willing to re-friend him after that, unless he has been drinking again. I am too incensed at his rudeness and subsequent cowardice when I tried to talk to him on MSN.

Ach, shame that. But 'tis life - some friendships are not destined to be long-lived, although they serve a good purpose during their existence. One moves on.

Exactly, it was interesting knowing him. He certainly is someone who is extremely different to most people I know.

That sucks.

Online communication does have a drawback in that sometimes, things get said out of context, because you don't have body language and tone of voice to go along with it.

Hopefully hravan will approach you later with a bigtime apology.. if he doesn't though, it is his loss.

Yep, I agree. There are drawbacks to online communications. I just don't think I am interested in speaking to this person again.

I totally understand.

Well, if he does have remorse later, hopefully this will have taught him something.

Oh what a pity. But I'm sure it's their loss.
