This thing may help me to resolve my mounting problems:
I've just learnt that NPT stands for National Pipe Thread (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_pipe_thread)
Finally I found what I needed: 1/2" pipe thread plastic nuts! The irony is that I found them not in plumbing, but in electrical department:
