I find it odd that, assuming the rumors about this place being connected to every world there is are true, no one else from my world is here.

It's almost... unnerving.

The only people who would want to talk to me from my world are either my girlfriend (I guess that's what you'd call her), or someone who hates me.

Well, I was sent to scout possibilities for a new settlement, but there were two Raptors behind me, so I fully expected a few more pilots to be joining me very soon after I landed. I assume they didn't make the right jump. Or maybe I made the wrong jump - there is something wrong with my ship's nav, after all.

Are you a long way from home, too?
