Wincon is GREAT!

Once upon a time (five years ago) I was new to the Supernatural fandom and in a cranky place in my life. I wanted to do something unexpected...so on an impulse I signed up for the first ever Wincon in Nashville, Tn. Now - I knew exactly one person going in and we had only met once - basically I was jumping into a sea of strangers

I can't believe you've ever been cranky....

WINCON, man. The place where those of us (me!) who think OMG I'M WAY TOO SHY TO DO THIS soon learn that nearly everyone feels that way, and we all go out of our way to shoo away that awkward.

There is nothing quite like being immediately enveloped by the love of a bunch of people who take the time to get to know you, and then proceed to make your weekend amazing and special.

No matter who you are, or whether you knew any of the attendees before your arrival, you will find your people at WinCon. October can't come soon enough.
