PROLOGUE
"Dude, I hope they have pie," Dean said sitting down in the booth.
"Dean, it’s a diner in a small town. I’m positive they do have pie," said Sam with an eye roll.
Both brothers were sitting facing each other with a clear view of the entire diner. Both ever so deligent about keeping an eye out for anything in the road side diner that could present a danger. Well except for Dean.
"Me want me some pie," Dean said with his face hidden behind the menu.
Sam looked up from the newspaper he had laid out on the table that he was now reading, "Are you like five?"
Just as Dean was about to answer him the waitress came up to them, "Want can I get you?" She was an average looking 22 year old with red hair in a pony tail. She was wearing a shirt that was three sizes too short and a skirt that was a couple inches to short.
When the waitress left after taking their orders and passing too many desperate and flirty looks with Dean of course.
Dean leaned forward with a grin, "And her too."
Sam ignored Dean and began circling some articles.
"Does this God forsaken town have a case for us or what?" Dean said annoyingly as he looked around the cafe.
"Yeah, I think it does," Sam replied as he passed the paper towards Dean, "It says there that a family was killed in cold blood a couple months ago. All the doors and windows were locked from the inside and the alarm was still on when they found them."
Dean read through the articles Sam had circled. "Angry spirit?" Dean said looking up at Sam.
"Maybe."
"Here you go," the waitress with their food said as she reached their table. She gave Dean one more flirty smile before sauntering away. Dean held up the napkin that the waitress had left and showed it to Sam. Her number was written on it and the shape of her lips.
"Guess I will be needing to get a separate room?" Sam said with a grimace.
Dean grinned, "Hell yeah. Maybe this town ain’t that bad."
The door of the diner opened up and two girls came in. One was a tall brunette and the other was a curvy blonde. They sat in the corner booth and began talking.
"This town ain’t bad at all,” Dean said with the biggest grin ever his face and Sam chuckled.
"Whatever you say man."
***********At the Corner Booth*********
"Hey Chloe. You want anything?"asked Lois as she skimmed through the menu.
"No. I’ll just get a coffee. I don’t feel like eating anything," replied Chloe as she quickly glanced around at the people in the diner.
"Okay. I'll get a coffee as well and we can go," Lois closed the menu and laid it flat on the table.
"Okay."
As soon as they had made up their mind the red headed waitress came over and took their orders. They sat in silence for a couple moments until Lois blurted out mostly to herself, “Jackpot!”
"What?"asked Chloe as she looked around trying to spot what had caught Lois’s attention.
"Two hot guys alert! I call dibs on the tall one," said Lois with excitement as she grinned.
Chloe sighed as she spotted the two men that Lois was referring to. Two men were sitting across from each other in a booth across the restaurant. They were fervently looking through some papers laid out on the table until the shorter brunette looked up and grinned at Chloe. She looked away quickly before saying, "You can have both for all I care. And what is it with you and tall guys?"
Lois gave her sister a disapproving look, "Chloe. You need to get laid or I’m afraid the machine down there will break because of the lack of use. And tall guys have large feet and you know want they say about large feet. They are large down there too!"Lois said grinning like a mad woman.
"And there goes my lunch!" Chloe said with a disgusted face.
"The short one is checking you out."
Chloe rolled her eyes as the waitress brought them their coffees. Sometimes all Lois thought about were guys, "Well let him. I don’t care."
All conversations about the hot guys ended as they both concentrated on their coffees and the two men exited the diner.
*********Outside the Diner************
Dean and Sam were walking towards the Impala when Dean suddenly stopped and a dazzled look appeared on his face.
Sam stepped around Dean and waved his hand in front of his face, "Dean….Dean….DEAN!!"
He looked over at Sam and frowned, "What?!?!"
"What are you looking at?" Sam asked with a frown.
Dean gave him a baffled look and started waving his hands and pointing at a car across the lot, "Don’t you see that?! That is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. Well besides the Impala. Do you know how much work and effort it takes to find and keep in maintenance a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette? Sammy I think I’m in love.” Dean stood looking at the car almost in a daze.
Sam just rolled his eyes and continued towards the Impala,”I’m gonna go wait in the car and give you a minute.”
“Nice car?” said a voice from behind Dean with a hint of amusement. The person stepped forward and stood next to him.
Dean glanced to the side and realized it was the curvy blond chick from the diner.
“Nice doesn’t even cut it. It’s beyond beautiful and I wanna meet the guy who owns this thing. To keep it in such a shape! Do you know how much it takes to maintain a car like this?”
“Actually, I do,” the blonde grinned while taking a pair of keys out of her jacket pocket and going towards the driver side of the Corvette. Her brunette friend passed by him and went to the passenger side and quickly got in.
“I think I’m in love with you,” Dean said in a husky voice loud enough for Chloe to hear.
Chloe faltered for a second and looked up at the strange man, who had suddenly fallen in love with her ‘baby’, as she opened the car door. Smiling softly Chloe got into the car with a chuckle.
