Thank you for not killing them! I was prepared--I spent a lot of time being all watery-eyed reading this, so I was ready. I was glad you didn't kill them, but I'm guiltily glad you let them kill Castiel. Guilty because in the normal course of things, I'm very fond of Cas, but this arrogant dick deserved getting iced. It wasn't even much of a stretch to see him being the villain. He was so close to being just this way *before* absorbing all those souls on Show. His belief that he knew better than anyone, and the way he kind of treated Dean like an adorable but brain-damaged yorkie...well

I actually had to take a break or two while I was reading this, it got so intense!! *whew* I'm glad they got to go off by themselves in the end, SO much pain and damage, and then fighting against each other and themselves too. Love the soulbonding, even as it was so misunderstood for so long. Great voices, even in the middle of their angst, they sounded like themselves. Kudos!
