Everyone has to start somewhere! Check ins are basically posts where you have to tell us (the mods) where you are in the story. So, word count and the like. And how you're feeling about it. Just so we know to expect if anyone is going to need to drop out or get an extension on any of the deadlines.

All you have to do on the day of a check in is drop by the community and copy and paste the questions on the check in post into a comment and answer them. Easy as that!

Are there any other questions you can think of right now? If not, or if so, feel free to ask us anything. Alex and I are here to help make your big bang experience enjoyable.

Is there a place I could post a plotbunny?

I am not much of a writer myself and would never be able to write a fic for a big bang, but I still get ideas and wonder if I can offer them up for others to use.

Unfortunately we don't really have anything set up where anyone can post plot bunnies... I'll talk with my co-mod and see if she wants to put up a prompt giving post, but I can't guarantee it, sorry.

Is it possible for the author to do the art for their own work?

No, it's not unless we really have a shortage in the number of artists. Part of the fun of a big bang is getting art and you don't know what to expect by it.

If, after the bang is over, you want to make some extra art for your own story, that, of course, it fine, but you'll still have to let your story be claimed for a different artist during the bang. And if you sign up as an artist you should claim a different story other than your own.

Hope that helps~

I write for Destiel regularly, but I've never written for Wincestiel. So I was wondering, obviously since it's a WINCESTIEL big bang, they all three have to be in it (which is fine with me because I love Sam :3) but do they all have to be involved romantically? For example, can it focus on the relationship between all three of them, but have the only *romantic* relationship be between Dean and Cas or Cas and Sam, etc.?

So, this is a hard question. Yes, all three have to be in it, and they all three have to be in it romantically. However... threesomes can be written in many different ways. For instance, if Dean is dating Cas and Sam is also dating Cas, that's fine. Dean and Sam don't ever have to engage in sexual activities together, if you don't want, but they should all know that they're all dating, if you know what I mean. You can't just have Dean/Cas together and just have Sam there doing nothing romantic, cause that's still just Destiel.

Does that answer your question?

Yes, that makes sense. Thanks.
