Our leave year finishes at the end of August. So 3 months from now.

I can carry 5 days over. I currently have 20.

So I need to use 15 days leave in the next 3 months.

You may now make suggestions on where I should go. I don't promise to pay attention, but you might vicariously enjoy sending me to strange places :)

Why not take up Geocaching? :D

Alternatively, North Wales is nice at this time of year.

Alaska! Fly to Fairbanks and take the Alaskan Railroad down to Anchorage, then on to Seward. Wildlife cruises in Seward to see killer whales, sea otters and glaciers.

Hardly gets dark at all right now, fantastic seafood, everyone speaks the language, etc.

Well, it's up there on my list of 'best holidays ever' and I plan to go back again sometime.

Suggesting Canada is much like suggesting 'Europe, or maybe Eastern Russia, or maybe North Africa'...

I heartily recommend the West Coast of North America though, from Portland up to Vancouver (and reading Mr Al_fruitbat's advice, onwards to Alaska). Portland's got this odd quirky, feel, Seattle's cosmpolitan, haughty but still the big City (TM), Vancouver's the outdoorsporty types HQ, the bits in between have some of the best scenery I've know, with big mountains, sea, islands, forests and wildlife. The west coast train line isn't expensive and is nicer than driving too.

Course, I liked it so much I moved here, so some bias.

Otherwise, Tokyo, if your bank balance and resistance to humidity can take it.
