Oh my god. I was doing fine until this line - then my heart dropped. Poor Hodgins.

I always keep a tissue in my lab coat now just in case I start crying.  Zack left a hole in my heart I don’t think anyone can ever fill.

That is exactly how he acted for a long tie after Zack left (and I personally think he still feels that way - they just don't show it any more).

Yeah, it seems as if the writers are trying to have Hodgins make friends with the male interns in an attempt to replace Zack, while still fueling the Hodgins / Angela fire that we all want to burn out.

That's exactly how it seems. No one even mentions Zack anymore. And it kills me when Hodgins tries to do "King Of The Lab" with the other interns - that was between him and Zack. No one else cares.

And doesn't it seem odd that the show never addressed the fact that Hodgins could have easily gotten Zack out? I mean, the man is "rich squared to the power of ten times four" (to quote our favorite squint). Money talks, baby.

Or Hodgins should've at least arranged for Zack to have visiting outside the loony bin. They need more "Hodgins visits Zack" scenes!

This was so bitterly sweet, it was sweet but by the end I wanted to cry. I can't even watch the show anymore, though I still love it. After Zack left I just can't watch it without crying. Zack was my favorite and it just was heartbreaking not to see him. And I'm glad not to see Angela/Hodgin's in this. I used to like that pairing, but after it happened it just seemed like the writer's were trying to hard. And half the time it seemed more like lust then love. So to see something without that pairing even mentioned, is nice.
