Ty is so brilliant in THE MARK OF ZORRO. One of the films that made me realize what a talented actor he was, and of course it's always a delight to see Linda Darnell :)
I was a mite annoyed with some of the audience members who laughed at the most ridiculous things -- romantic moments are ruined when you laugh for no reason! Oh god, I hate that too! If a movie's really pathetic, okay, but classic movies? No.
But I'm glad you got to see one on the big-screen regardless, that must've been amazing. Linda Darnell is so cute! ^^
The worst part was ninety percent of the audience was old enough to see it the first go-around, so it wasn't immaturity, just sillyness! It really is great to see them the way they were intended, I wish I could do so more often. And she was only 17 when she made that movie -- she looks absolutely precious!
P.S. I love your icon! I used that film last semester for a presentation. :)
I can't imagine a beautiful vintage movie stretched across the big screen! Those audience members should have been more appreciative of such an opportunity. >.>
Thank you, your Ava icon is gorgeous!! That must've been an awesome presentation, my goodness. :D
