Some places in Willy's realm were dark and dangerous, but others were quite lovely. The fae had opened a door this morning and had tugged Fin along with him to the borderlands between the Seelie lands and the other areas on the other side. The sun was high but it mattered not. Fin narrowed his eyes at Willy suspiciously, looking unsure.

"Are you teasing me? I can never tell... I'm not going to open that door and find something awful on the other side- am I?" he asked.

"I am not inclined to give you any nasty surprises, my dear. Only delights. If you would rather we can go to the wizard village, but I do think you would be more enamoured of wonderland," Willy replied, gesturing to the knob that seemed perfectly reasonable there on the trunk of the tree.

Fin looked at Willy, then at the knob, deciding he trusted the fae and opening the door.

It was the smell that hit him first. Rich and thick. Like jam tarts and fresh bread. It was wonderful, and without another thought he stepped right through.

Willy followed after him. The door closed behind them with a creak and a click. The sunlight filtered through raspberry coloured leaves and the ground seemed to move.

Because the ground did move.

As Willy stepped forward, tiny little puffs with legs began to scatter before him, peeping and squeaking as they fled.

"We'll need to find a path...not that it will take us where we expect," he said.
