Writer's Block: Places to Lay Your Head

I have lived in at least 24 different houses and apartments. I have lived in 9 cities. It depends on what you call "living" somewhere and what you call "staying" somewhere because you have nowhere else to live.

It's hard to peg a favorite, since they are all so wrapped up with that particular part of my life. There were times I loved Fresno, but

i haven't lived in that many places. 8 places. The most moves have been since we have had Madeleine. We have moved every single year. UGH/ Hopefully this has changed.

My favorite place that we lived was (other than this one, we just haven't been here long enough to make memories) this duplex downtown. It was run down, and the kitchen was awful. But for some reason when I think of it, I loved that place the most. We had this HUGE walk in closet that Andres used to sit in and read of a night time. And we had a massive fenced in porch that M and I would watch the neighborhood hookers walk to work on the corner.
