DITL

I'm a week behind on this one, due to moving constraints, but I'm doing it anyway despite the violation of chronological decorum.

Our air conditioner is out. Good thing we have the King.

Great DITL ! Missed them greatly too!
Your new campus/college looks GREAT! Market Street is just too gorgeous. Johnny Rockets - haven't been there in ages. I always feel sorry for them when they have to dance.
The girls are darling as always - clearly they and Blitz survived the move nicely.
Give them hugs and that doggie a big pat for me.
Randi - just too chic in those glasses! Love them! (What book was she reading? - just curious)
The JR food looked waaaay better than the 'campus lunch' - that um....looked like hospital food.
Darling little girls - sleeping and dancing. I wish they could play with my girls - they'd have so much fun!
I am so excited for you guys. Great new chapter for you all!
Say it with me now...you know you want to: "Squeeeeeee!"

She's reading Voyage to Arcturus by David Lindsay. It's one of my very favorite books ever, and almost no one has read it. I've been bothering her for 6 years to read it. It's variously on and off print, but can usually be found in a used bookstore.

Not only are they scary looking, but they move and "breathe" and have heart rates. The man actually, TALKS about his symptoms and dies when the students fail their jobs.

I think I've seen the inside of more Borders and Banres and Nobles in your posts than in real life.

Good job on biking to work. I'm jealous.

Yeah, bookstores are a daily thing with these girls--at least in the summer. An air conditioned place where they can play and see books. Awesome.

I haven't biked to work yet, but I'm fully prepped. I'll have to post a picture of my bike fully loaded. It's radical.

We're actually both going to ride to work and see if we can sell the second car. Pay off debt, have no insurance, sounds nice. This neighborhood is full of biking paths and we're close to everything. It's the opposite of our last neighborhood.
