I think you underestimate Ruiz's clinching ability. If James Toney can only punch 3-4 times a round thanks to his arms being tied, what's he going to do? It's Ruiz' speciality. He gets you frustrated through his boring, boring fights, sucks your soul out, and then steals the last few rounds from you. He is my favorite fighter to hate.

Erick Stevens main eventing two shows this weekend just feels so right.

Yeah, I'm supposed to like John Ruiz because of him being Puerto Rican and all, but he's so damn boring that I try to forget that I'm supposed to like him. I feel like such a turncoat. Ok, I changed my mind. Ruiz wins with a split decision.

Ya know, I honestly hadn't thought too much about my May schedule. I posted it a week or so ago, but I include every show in that. I guess I'll have to look thru to see where I'm going, and then I'll post it sometime in here.
