This is pretty interesting...I've never seen race as a discourse on fandom before. Not really "into" SF&F (it took me a bit to understand the acronym!), but Googling "Race Fail '09" gave some pretty interesting results. Thanks for mentioning it.

And oh, the drama! Something to expect across the board of ALL fandoms, hehe.
