Another great story! You can really tell how much B.J. misses Peg. Though, I was a bit confused at first. I haven't seen any episodes where it was mentioned that they had a dog.

Thank you :). I know there's one episode where Hawkeye is going through BJ's mail (I think it's the one where he's trying to figure out what BJ stands for), and says, "Waggle Hunnicutt" and BJ says, "That's my dog. My wife writes the letters." (Or something along those lines). So it's really just a passing fact that's only mentioned in one or two episodes.
