This was a wonderful, beautiful little moment. I love that they didn't say too much or go too far here. It's very canon, and Ron's thoughts were perfectly on target for this particular time. You can really sense how overwhelmed they are and how scared he is of a lot of impending things. I love the bit at the end about him wanting to just grab her and tell her everything. But those types of moments never do last more than a split second. Stop to think, and it's gone, and you captured that brilliantly.

Nice work! So glad to see you writing again!!

Thank you for your lovely and thoughtful review. I saw it this morning just before I went to work and it was a wonderful way to start my day! :)

I think what I miss most post-DH is the UST. I think DH missing moments are the best way to revisit it. ;)

Thanks again! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Lovely missing moment! You really captured the sense of fear and foreboding in the air, while giving us a glance into their underlying feelings. Excellent! It's so nice to see you writing! :)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I think even in the worst of times all the good stuff is still there under the surface. There are still moments of joy even when there is suffering. It's just life.

I'm so glad to be writing again, tbh.

I love this! You've perfectly captured that tension that exists throughout the books--Ron and Hermione are normal teenagers with the same fears and worries as other teenagers, yet they are wise beyond their years from everything they've been through and have the weight of the world resting on them. *hugs them both*

This is random, but I loved the detail that when Hermione walked into his room, Ron thought it was his mum. If he thought it was his mum, she must check on him occasionally. I just find it sweet that Molly Weasley would be checking on her "adult" son like she would an eight-year-old. Aww.

So glad to see a story from you! And you reminded me I haven't posted the Ron/Hermione drabble I wrote. Or several other things either . . . ;)

*HUGS*

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. :)

I think after hearing Ron and Hermione's plans to leave with Harry, that Mrs. Weasley would have been even more protective of her youngest boy. ♥

I'm glad to be writing. It's been ages! *hugs back*

Wonderful story! I love the intimacy that one feels through the words. I was frustrated at Ron for him not saying what he had to say (which is a very normal thing to feel about him, lol!), but overall I was really happy that I was reading one of your stories again!

Thank you, dear! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Ron is frustrating. ;) He wouldn't be as wonderful if he weren't, though, I guess. ;)
