Tonight I went to a party celebrating Lillie and Chris's wedding. The wedding itself was in March, a not-quite-spur-of-the-moment Las Vegas affair, but to satisfy the hungry gods of parental pride, Lillie's Mom and Dad put together a truly delightful garden party, with feasting and jokes and free-flowing champagne

My CD is the recording of my Senior Voice Recital, which took place on May 2nd of this year. I'm a classically-trained soprano, and in the fall I'm transferring to the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston to continue along the path that will eventually (I hope) lead to a career in opera. The programme includes pieces by Rachmaninoff, Barber, Mozart, Schubert, Bizet, Faure, Rodrigo, Duke, Hahn, Wolf, and my father (a retired film composer).
