Wow. Cool... especially since I can't get this image of sleepy!Dean out of my head. I loved it! Thanks... I think I'll go back and re-read it when I have some quiet time.

I know, (for me)it's the idea that while he was in Hell he was probably being tortured and not granted much reprieve from it. Even before that I'd speculate that when he was younger he was possibly a light sleeper (due to dad's demand that he 'take care of Sammy'). Especially after the Striga attack when they were little. It's a fascinating subject to ponder.

Every time I see Sleepy!Dean I think of that Monkee's song 'Daydream Believer' and I change up the lyric 'Cheer up Sleepy Jean...' to 'Rest now, Sleepy!Dean...'

Excellent! It's totally worth it if only for Sleepy!Dean.

I am in fact working on re-working the lyrics to that 'Daydream Believer' song to be more 'fitting' to Dean... We'll see how it goes.
