My sister is schizophrenic, and she tried to OD on anti-anxiety meds that she had, and they did not commit her even after finding out that she'd taken a months worth of pills.

Psych medicine sucks pretty much universally, hun. Even when she was violent and psychotic, we couldn't commit my sister unless she did something that we could show the cops (like trashing the apt, which she did numerous times).

I hope things with your sister get better, bb.
