I don't know anyone who will tell you it's correct to pronounce the 't' at the end. You're saying it right, it should sound more like 'Tarrow'.

As for the lunar cycles, I only know a little bit. I can dig out my books and get back to you. But, I can remember that if they're born under a later cycle they will need more alone time and be temperamental, where as a baby born under a early/new cycle will be inquisitive and ask a lot of questions. Something like that.

Thanks, I've always heard the word with the second 't' silent. Glad to know I'm right about that. It's something I'll quietly 'lord' over my friend, she wouldn't take it kindly if I told her she was saying it wrong.
