Bobby and the phones was great! And this ep bordered on maintext, I think it went a couple steps over subtext. And yeah, they both know what was said under that spell was meant by both, and that is the part that makes me sad.

So does Bobby cover for other hunters like that too? Or is it just Our Boys? That was FUCKING AWESOME!!!

Also: I may have teared up a little when they both knew they were Lying Liars who Lie about being 'OK' with each other... Stoopid Boys.

Well it would be sooooo much easier to talk if Sam wasn't lying through his teeth every two fucking seconds. GRRRRRRRR

I was kind of glad that they got to 'go at' each other. I mean I realise that it was under the influence, but still... It was totally necessary.

All I could think of when I heard Stiles was the guy who was best friends with Michael J. Fox in Teen Wolf.

oh, huh... maybe that was the reference. 'Cause I know they usually go with band member names as their aliases for these sorts of things.

Oh, I'll totally agree that they both need to come clean. I am however a Dean-Girl, so I'm a little more willing to look past some of Dean's 'faults'... But no you are right. They both need to just sit down and hash all this out. and Soon!!

Except that's kinda the problem, cuz Dean's been opening up and telling Sam what's going on with him, and not only did Sam completely bald-faced lie to him about what he's up to, but then he turns around and says the weak and self-pitying stuff that made Dean totally clam up again. We're back to "We're fine," again.

What's really bugging me is that the other victims said they knew exactly what they were doing. So, I don't buy that the boys didn't mean what they said. Furthermore, Dean said exactly what I think he meant to say, because it was obviously on his mind throughout the whole episode. So, I have to believe Sam said what he was thinking, too. They don't get to buy off with the love spell mojo made 'em say stuff they didn't mean.

Yes Exactly. I think however that it is a 'Winchester Trait' to 'blame the MoTW' when ever things don't necessarily go their way. It makes it easier to 'move past it' without having to have a 'chick-flick moment'. And we all know how much Dean hates C-F M's.

Millage May Vary and all that...

You need to Fucking talk while NOT under DEMONIC INFLUENCE OR SPELL!!!

Like Dean's EVER going to tell Sam anything again after what he said. For two years all we heard from Sam was "Talk to me. I want to help." then this is what he thinks?

Imma thinking our Sammy is a little too full of himself here.

Rock On!

I'm more then a little pissed at Sam right now. Like you said for so long he was all 'Talk to me. I need to know what you are thinking/feeling.' But the first time(s) Dean does Sam either doesn't react (sitting on the car after Dean tells about being in Hell for 40 years. when Dean tells about enjoying the torturing of other souls) or reacts negatively (tonight: calling Dean weak). So yeah Sam just burnt his own bridge here. I really don't see how they are going to repair the rift that's opened between them.

Ya know, I can almost see why he didn't respond when Dean first told him, because...well...what DO you say to something like that? Hallmark doesn't even cover it.

We have been waiting so long for something, anything, as to what was going on in Sam's mind only to find out he thinks his brother is inferior. A ball-and-chain in a relationship that was thought to be equal. Contemptuous of confessions. God! I want to slap him back to season one.

Like you, I don't see how they are going to get past this.
