you know that there is some werid disease out there where ppl think that they are ugly.. like no matter what they do or what ppl say.. they just feel like they are ugly. i dont know why i would intrigue you with that bit of information.. maybe it was out of pure boredum

Its called lack of confidence or starvation for attention and acceptance.For example, consider the following situation.
A girl infected with the second diseases asks her friend: Does this make my butt look big?
and this person knows that they are totally bootylicious yet they ask anyway just so you will have to look at their fantabulous ass and then provide the compliments accordingly. they just ask so that their beliefs cpncerning their bodies will be verified. they know the answer yet need reassurance.
or people with real cases of lack of confidence usually try to be something else to hide their insecurities and then provide a misinterpretation of themselves hence, the distorted image in the mirror.
