This is why I checked the little box to let Google index my journal. I spent a lot of time a while back trying to find the lyrics on the internet, only to discover that they only existed in scraps and fragments in such detestable places as forum signatures and Myspace subject lines. Most of the lines I found disagreed with each other. Eventually, I had to dig out my old VHS copy and watch it again.
As far as I know, the song was written for the Halloween special, and it only had the one verse. I had really hoped to find more, so I wrote the other three myself by way of protest.
I'm glad you like it. I'm working on another pirate song, actually, but I was waiting to post it until I'd finished. It's a little on the long side; I've got eighteen verses so far, and probably at least three or four to go.

Love the second verse.

Sixteen sailors doomed to die
None of 'em sober save for I
I was left to meet my death
With nothing but brine to foul my breath
Yo ho ho ho, under the raging seas we go!
Yo ho ho ho, down to the depths below!
Sixteen men were lost at sea
All of them drowned except for me
I alone survive to tell
How all o' my crew sank down to Hell
Yo ho ho ho, fish eat their flesh and leave the bones
Yo ho ho ho, rotting with Davey Jones!

Anyhow, I was actually trying to find out if it was a real song when I ran across your rendition.
