Great moments in parenting: #8 bus edition.

Got on the #8 bus this evening and a little girl was in her mother's arms, screaming her head off.  She was around 18-24 months old.  She was flailing around and slapped her mother with her hand.  Her mother didn't say anything, but lightly slapped her back, almost playfully.  Great, I thought.  Then they moved and some guy was blocking my view of ( Read more... )

You do not want to be out of a job right now. I'm sorry you have a job predicated on human unhappiness, but at least it's comparatively recession-proof. No smiley.

Being dependent on human stupidity is great job security.
