Vegetables ^o^

Last week I got a whole bunch of vegetables from Chiisai_hime as omiyage from Chiba ^o^  At first I was worried if I'd be able to finish it all, but after a week of eating a ton of vegetables every day, I've just about finished... half of it, lol.

My gosh, those vegetables are huge!! And all those delicious meals you made, they look literally mouth-watering!! Thanks for these cool pictures! Now I crave some fresh vegetables and hot soup and rice for dinner, LOL! >_<
Also, I wanted to add that I love the way you serve the food at the end, in the traditional Japanese style! 😍 It looks even more enticing that way!
The food looks pretty healthy to me...

Thanks! The round serving tray is one of my favorite finds from the 100-yen shop recently, it makes any meal look like you're eating at a traditional inn xD Hope you'll be able to find some good veggies where you are!

Yup, I had to pluck the biggest veggies I saw XD Luckily, daikon is pretty versatile! You can also pickle what you don't finish if you're bored of simmered daikon/nabe/miso! We ended up having to amputate the "smaller" one my mom harvested since it got freezer burn from the hotel fridge :( Fortunately, we were still able to eat most of the greens and the remaining 3/4 when we got back!

Oh, and if you see hakusai at your nearby farm stand, you can just wash, salt, squeeze thoroughly and add it to the kimchi for more kimchi!

Aww, too bad about your daikon, glad you were still able to eat most if it though >w<

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely pickle the rest if I don't finish it by the time I go to the Netherlands!
