Though it was autumn, the ceremony was being held outdoors to accomodate the number of guests and Narnian subjects who wanted to attend. Luckily the day was sunny with just a tinge of cool in the air. Also luckily Willow didn't have to make that happen since boy howdy would weather-related spells not be appropriate at a time like this

Jeff arrived in his suit (the one suit he owned and that Turtle liked so much) with a girlfriend on his arm and an expression on his face that was both gleeful (castle!) and utterly scared out of his wits (someone he knew was getting married; that was like a relationship timebomb waiting to happen to everyone else).

He really hoped nobody was going to bring that whole marriage bit up. He was a senior, he knew what happened.

Not that she had any idea what was going on through Jeff's head, but he should be glad to know that marriage between anyone but Peter and Willow was the last thing on Turtle's mind, except that maybe weddings weren't so bad when you didn't hate the person your sister was getting married to because he was a stupid plastic surgeon, and she was pretty sure Willow wouldn't ditch Peter at the alter, kidnap Turtle, and then take her on a random roadtrip.

There was that, and then there was also a lot of things about pretty Narnian dresses, and talking animals, and possible Turtle & Canary magical-realms branches, and suit suit suit suit suit, so there was much clinging to Jeff's arm and quite a bit of bouncing.

The squirrels were there en masse: all with blue and gold glittery flags.

Most of them had some misspelled variation of the bride and groom's names on them. Only one declared love for Teyla.

They all had on little bow ties and were now checking out the variety of non-humans at the wedding.

They were soooo hoping to get lucky.

Susan's gown wasn't as ornate as it could have been; she'd rejected ones with capes and bell sleeves and trains in favor of a simpler gown in Narnia's colors.

Her circlet was firmly over her curls, though, and not in danger of falling off or over her eyes. She'd ensured that. Willow had made her a little nervous, you see.

"Ladies and gentleman of Narnia and ladies and gentlemen who are joining us from afar," Tumnus said, standing up as straight as he could. "It is my honor and my pleasure to present to you High King Peter the Magnificent and Queen Willow the Hopeful!"

He bowed to both the king and queen, pleased that he'd been asked to do such a wonderful thing during their wedding.
